Resumé

My name is Patrick Dunbar, I have known that I wanted to be an engineer for as long as I can remember. My journey started at Montana State University where I studied Mechanical Engineering and developed lifelong skills that have aided me in my career. I have been managing, engineering and designing products and systems ever since I graduated in May 2007.

Most recently, I am a senior project manager and co-product line engineering manager for a line of diaphragm compressors servicing industrial process, semiconductor and solar PV manufacturing. I manage projects, engineers, designers and manufacturing staff for the hermetically sealed reciprocating diaphragm compressor product line under the Sundyne sub-brand PPI, Pressure Products Industries. I am in charge of managing several projects at once while managing engineers and designers to grow our product line to meet more of the total addressable market. I develop staffing and resource plans while working with global customers and suppliers. Before that, I was working as the Project Engineer/Manager for a pipeline midway terminal designed as a custody transfer station moving batched liquid propane and butane into a customers pipeline. I was the sole mechanical engineer, managing the projects civil grading, and piping designers. Also, my responsibilities included developing the mechanical equipment specs, engineering calculations, material requisitions and overseeing the drawing development for the pipeline terminal.
